Rebecca Bailey MD, FACP, FCCP, FAASM
In addition to working in a busy clinical practice, Dr. Bailey has been program Director for Internal Medicine residency training at Northside Medical Center for several years.
Dr. Bailey was one of the founding members of Eastern Ohio Pulmonary Consultants in 1984. She received her MD from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in 1979 and completed her Internal Medicine Residency training at Youngstown Hospital Association’s Southside and Northside Hospitals. Dr. Bailey went on to finish her fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital in 1984. She holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine.
In addition to working in a busy clinical practice, Dr. Bailey has been Program Director for Internal Medicine residency training at Northside Medical Center for several years. She is a Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). She recently resigned from positions of Associate Clinical Dean for the Northside Campus and Section Head for pulmonary and critical care at NEOMED in order to be able to dedicate more time to the residency and to her clinical practice.
Dr. Bailey’s interests outside of medicine include running, fitness, gardening, reading and music. She is the president of the Youngstown Roadrunners Club and is a member of bell choir, chancel choir, and praise band at her church.
